Born in England, Guy had a passion for art and wildlife from a young age. His first experience of pristine wilderness came when he worked at a Safari lodge in the Kafue River Reserve in Zambia, surrounded by some of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife. Continuing his love for wild places he later relocated to Canada. He considers himself very lucky to share his back yard with deer, bears, coyotes, raccoons and a huge variety of birds.
“When you encounter a wild thing in its own habitat there is a moment where you regard it and it regards you and the rest of the world just becomes background. That is a very real and special connection and one I want to share through my art.”
